RKO PRESENTS

All 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, @ the White Horse Bar & Inn

Listed below: Some blasts from the past (follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news)!

JULY 20 WTF NOW?!?

RKO presents a show on July 20th that is a free-for-all, wacky, weird, angry, loving, community-filled open-themed opportunity for our performance community to do what's in our hearts (individual and collective, political and personal, you name it). In other words, no freaking theme kids, but we want you ALL to come out ;-), shake your tushes on and off stage, and be the creative performers that you are.

The line-up includes:

Vegas Jake
Dante DeMoan
Andy Topser
Joey Gelato
Mickey Finn
Chase N. Tayle
Charlie
Riley Coyote
Dahlia
Chcio Suave
Vera
Javier Miguel
Edie Godiva
Magnolia Black

AND MORE.

JUL 6 KEEP 'MERICA GAY

The message of this one was clear: America has always been gay, but it's important to remind people sometimes JUST HOW GAY by being HERE and QUEER! No one in the East Bay is ever going to forget just how GAY America is....not if we have anything to do with it!!

Queer-performer America itself was at the White Horse on Wednesday, July 6th!

The line-up included performances from around the Bay:

Joey Gelato
Oliver Quimm
Vegas Jake
Dante DeMoan
Vera
Cemora Valentino
Blue Charisma
Riley Coyote
Magnolia Black
Daizelle
Andy Topser
MADD Dogg 20/20
Miss Shugna
Luna Malbroux

AND MORE SPECIAL GUESTS!!!

JUN 15 FOR ORLANDO

Originally titled "Six Years and Counting: Gimme Some Wood", our intended six year anniversary show fell just days after the shooting in Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. And so our yearly anniversary show became, this year, a community fundraiser for the families of the Orlando victims. And our community showed up big time to make it powerful.

A huge thank you to all the guest performers featured on our stage that night:

D. Love
Vera
Jesi Ringofire
Logan Cumswell
Leigh Crow
Ruby Vixen
Javier Miguel
Dawn Wrong
Eva Rose
Andre Shakti

Together, we raised almost $900 which went directly to support the victims' families. Oakland queer performance community, you are our life. Our hats and spectacles go off to you.
